Raising the Security Status of an Eviction

The new local court rule 4.75 says that in a non-criminal case, anyone may file a letter to request the court raise the security level of the case. When the security level of the case is higher, the case will be hidden from public view.

MO Department of Mental Health Rental Assistance Program

The Rental Assistance Program one-time assistance which provides assistance to (1) prevent eviction and re-establish housing stability; and/or (2) assist households to move into safe and affordable rental housing. This assistance is intended to help households who have adequate resources to rent on their own once they have been assisted.

Each resident over the age of 18 must submit a separate rental application. If you pay the fee at our office in cash, check, money order form, the application fee is $15. You must provide 3 years of residential history as well as contact information for your rental references. If you do not have 3 years of rental history, please list where you lived (whether it be with family, homeowner, college dorms, sorority/fraternity house, etc.). You will also be asked to provide information on your monthly income.

Multiple rental options. Each adult over 18 years of age must submit an application which includes: paying the application fee of $30.00, a one-time non-refundable administration fee of $150 will be due at lease signing. $350 of the security deposit will be a non-refundable charge, and withheld, at the end of the lease for floor cleaning, providing your landlord’s contact information and providing proof of income (current paystubs/awards letters, child support, disability, Soc. Security, food stamps, etc.). Credit, criminal, and eviction verification per applicant. No applicant or occupant of the house may have a felony on their criminal record. The security deposit is typically equal to 1 month’s rent and is due in full by your move-in date for a single family home.
Some of our rentals allow pets. If pets are allowed in a particular property, a pet fee will need to be paid. The pet fee is $300 per pet and an additional $40 a month to the rental amount. Some of our properties currently participate in Section 8 housing.

The Missouri Property Tax Credit Claim is a program that allows some senior citizen and all disabled individuals who have paid personal property tax through home ownership or rent to apply for credit based on the amount they payed toward that tax.
