Raising the Security Status of an Eviction

The new local court rule 4.75 says that in a non-criminal case, anyone may file a letter to request the court raise the security level of the case. When the security level of the case is higher, the case will be hidden from public view.

MO Department of Mental Health Rental Assistance Program

The Rental Assistance Program one-time assistance which provides assistance to (1) prevent eviction and re-establish housing stability; and/or (2) assist households to move into safe and affordable rental housing. This assistance is intended to help households who have adequate resources to rent on their own once they have been assisted.
CMCA - Rent & Mortgage
Update 10/30/2024 - CMCA is out of funds for rent assistance.
Through the City of Columbia Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Central Missouri Community Action (CMCA) has received funding to provide financial assistance to qualified residence who reside within the boundaries of the City of Columbia. Eligible families must meet income guidelines.

Missouri Property Tax Credit
