The Program Assistant reports to the Connections and Data Systems Manager and provides administrative support to the Path Forward and Connections programs. This role will entail a diverse set of tasks and responsibilities. Love Columbia is hiring a Facilities Assistant. The primary duties of the Facilities Assistant are to assist the Facilities Manager in the maintenance, repair, and other capital projects of the Love Columbia facilities, which include the Love Columbia Center, The Love Seat resale store and Furniture Bank, and properties used in our Love Forward Homes transitional housing program. This position requires the knowledge and skill of identifying solutions or adjustments needed to solve maintenance and repair issues. The person in this role is expected to exercise a high degree of professional judgment, discretion, and competence in performing these duties, as well as having a customer service mindset. Travel to all agency locations (within Columbia) on a regular basis as well as occasionally within the city and county in the normal course of business is required.
