The Learning Center is a hub for resources and a place for people seeking employment and other life improvement skills. The Center features laptop and printers; classes range from personal budgeting to office skills; and incentives are provided to make learning even more valuable, such as clothing vouchers for work outfits.
The Learning Center is open Mon-Fri, 9am-12pm and 1-4pm. Classes begin May 27 and are offered at various times during the week. Registration is requested by calling The Salvation Army at 573-442-3229. Name, phone number, and class are needed; leaving a message is fine.

The Catholic Charities Food Pantry is a grocery model client-choice pantry open to the public four days every week, with evening hours that help accommodate work and family schedules. The client-choice model is important because it empowers our pantry members to select the items they need, are familiar with, and enjoy.
Setting up your membership is easy! Come with your I.D. and one piece of mail for proof of address. If you don't have these items, come anyway, and our staff can help navigate your membership.
SHOP ONLINE WITH SMART CHOICE - If you have a pantry membership set up, you can scan the QR code on your card, or click here to access the SmartChoice online ordering system. Orders can be placed one day ahead of regular pantry hours and can be picked up on-site at 1015 Edmonds Street.
Hours of operation are: Mon & Wed 4pm - 7pm and Fri and Sat 10am - 1pm.

CMCA supports low-income individuals and families. When a family contacts us with a specific need, we use a whole family approach and work with these families to provide support for any additional needs by referring them to other programs offered. Head Start, child/family services, life skills, budgeting classes, housing/rental assistance, energy assistance, weatherization, and other programs.
