Mid-Missouri Legal Services provides free legal services to low-income individuals in cases involving family law, orders of protection, landlord/tenant matters, expungements, public benefits, bankruptcies, consumer matters, wills, healthcare and financial powers of attorney. Services provided by MMLS range from legal advice, brief services, extended representation in court and administrative hearings.

To be eligible for legal assistance you must:
• Reside in or have been served out of one of the 11 counties we serve: Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Chariton, Cole, Cooper, Howard, Miller, Moniteau, Osage, and Randolph.
• Have a legal problem that we can handle or for which we provide services.
• Meet the financial guidelines
Applications are completed Mon - Fri, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
