First Chance for Children provides early childhood programs and family resources that support safe and healthy outcomes for children and families across Missouri. Our programs include
Lend and Learn Toy Library
A place where children play to learn and parents learn through play.
Exciting chances for parents to engage with their children, connect with other parents, inquire about child development, and explore and check out a variety of toys. Open to all individuals with children aged 0-5, free of charge.
Safe Cribs
Providing families with a safe sleeping environment for their infants.
Providing a secure crib for babies, offering home visits, resources, and safe sleep education to famiies in need of a safe space for their infants, all at no cost.
Baby Bags
Diapers and wipes and so much more, because we all need a little help sometimes.
Essential items for families during critical times, such as diapers, wipes, health and hygiene products provided free one time per month to families in need.
Baby U
Assisting families through the challenges and joys of parenting
Home visitation for families with children ages 0-5, focusing on child development and family well being. Free and available to all families.
Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM; times of other activities varies
