Healthy Families is a voluntary program through Columbia/Boone County Healthy Families (C/BCHF). They serve pregnant women and parenting families with a child under the age of 3.
Healthy Families does not accept referrals through Children's Division. Per C/BCHF spokesperson, a better first point of contact for families is with Brighter Beginnings. That way, clients will get to which ever home visiting program fits them best. If they are not wanting home visiting but want to speak with someone about their pregnancy, apply for MPW, and find out more about social services in the community, they can call our Social Services at 817-6430.
