CMFCAA is a resource center for foster and adoptive families. There is no charge to use our services and if you have foster or adoptive or relative or guardianship care of children in your home then you qualify for our services. We also help license new foster and adoptive families through our Family Development team. We educate, support, and advocate for foster, kinship and adoptive children, youth and families in central Missouri by offering services and partnering with others to help them become healthy and self-sufficient.

Salvation Army-Baby Pantry

The Salvation Army Baby Pantry provides supplies for children from birth to age three. It is open on the fourth Thursday of each month, from 1:30 to 3:30 PM. Specific supplies will be limited to what has been donated and will include such things as diapers (for sizes preemies to five), wipes, diaper cream, formula, baby bottles, nursing essentials, bathing needs, clothing, shoes, pull ups, toys, and books. Clients must provide parent photo ID and baby’s Social Security card.

Share the Love

Through this program, low-income families who receive assistance from programs like WIC and TANF may be able to receive a set of cloth diapers — for free. All diapers distributed through this program are loaned to qualified families for an extended amount of time. Share the Love is a nonprofit program that distributes cloth diapers to low-income families in need. Families can keep cloth diapers from birth of child until the child is three years or
potty trained.

Voluntary Action Center (VAC)

Voluntary Action Center is a local non profit responding to the basic needs of the individuals within our community. VAC services and eligibility flyer
- Household: Must be a Boone County Resident.
- Income: Gross monthly income for everyone living at the Address must be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines. Information includes: employment income, unemployment, SNAP/food stamp benefits, TANF, child support, VA benefits, Social Security income.
- Demographic Information: Information about everyone in the household. Examples may include: Social Security number, birthdate, health insurance provider, contact information.

Services provided 9 am - 12 pm and 1 pm - 4 pm.
Walk-ins: M-T-Th-F.
Scheduled appointments - Wednesday. Call 573-874-2273 to schedule an appointment.
