—————————————————————————————————
The CCLT is a non-profit corporation formed by the City of Columbia with the primary duties of creating and stewarding permanently affordable housing. The widening gap between housing costs and household median income makes home ownership increasingly less affordable. The CCLT is working to address this by creating additional home-ownership opportunities for lower income Columbia households and permanently protecting these investments for future generations.
In order to qualify for CCLT homes, buyers must meet the following requirements:
Be a Citizen of the USA or registered alien
Have a minimum credit score of 600
Must intend to occupy the home as the homeowner
Provide a minimum of $500 towards the purchase of the home
Have no more than $15,000 in liquid assets available
Must meet with a HUD Certified Fair Housing Counselor
Must meet Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Gross Income Limits (effective June 1, 2024):
1-Person Household $57,400
2-Person Household $65,600
3-Person Household $73,800
4-Person Household $82,000
5-Person Household $88,600
