Escuelita Alegría Spanish Immersion Preschool is a year-round all day, play based Spanish Immersion preschool for children ages two through six. No previous Spanish experience is necessary. All lead teachers have at least one college degree and are native speakers.
We also offer summer care by the week from May - August for ages two - eight.

Effective for dates of service beginning October 1, 2024, doula services are available to all pregnant women, prenatally, during delivery, and throughout the 12-month postpartum period as a preventive service recommended by a licensed practitioner of the healing arts. “SuN Bucks” for Kids

Missouri SuN Bucks helps families buy food for their school-aged children during the summer months when school is not in session. Families will get a one-time $120 benefit per qualifying child that can be used to buy nutritious foods at authorized locations around Missouri.
Most eligible children will receive the benefit automatically and do not need to apply; however, households who need to apply can submit the application online by August 31, 2024. Families can use the Missouri SuN Bucks Eligibility Navigator to see if they need to complete an application.
Families with children who meet the criteria will receive an EBT card by mail, or the benefit will be added to their existing EBT card.

CoMo Bike Co-Op

Located at the Armory Sports and Recreation Center, 701 E. Ash. Due to funding constraints, the Co-op is open for limited hours on Mondays from 2 – 6 p.m.
To support the community’s transportation needs, the CoMo Bike Co-op offers free bicycle repair and refurbished, low-cost bicycles for a suggested donation. Our target demographic is underserved adults with transportation needs for work, school, and basic activities of daily living.
The free repair program is the primary function of the Co-op. Ancillary programs include repurposing and rehabilitating bicycles donated to the Co-op. Repurposed bicycles (predominantly bike-shop quality) are then offered to the community for a suggested donation and/or distributed via partnering organizations.
