Hexagon Alley

Content updated May 6, 2024

There’s a new option in Columbia this summer for parents looking for fun-filled educational programs for their children ages 6-14 on summer vacation. Hexagon Alley, the board game café that opened downtown last year, will host its version of “summer camp” from June through August. The curriculum strategically uses board games that build upon the neurodevelopmental functions of the brain and encourage the use of critical thinking, inference skills, teamwork and good sportsmanship.

“Summer camp” at Hexagon Alley begins June 10 and sign-ups are underway now. You can find more information here.

Content updated Aug. 22, 2025

M.A.R.C.H. Inc [Mediation Achieving Results for Children] is a nonprofit 501(c)3 serving Missouri and Kansas. M.A.R.C.H. Inc. has provided trusted family mediation services since 1997, helping parents resolve custody, parenting plan, and child support matters with less conflict and more collaboration. Originally established through Missouri’s IV-D program, M.A.R.C.H. has grown into a resource for families in both Missouri and Kansas. Today, we continue that mission by offering professional, court-approved mediation services that support families through life’s most challenging transitions.

Eligible families in Missouri can receive up to four hours of free mediation per year. Families that are eligible for free mediation are also eligible for free legal services to assist with court document filing, and supervised visitation services. Mediation is available in-person, by phone, or by virtual methods. Eligibility is not determined by income. If you have an active IV-D (child support) case through the state of Missouri, you can qualify for free services. We'll check your status for you!

Home office located at 2 South Water St., Liberty, MO 64068; 800-595-9750. But mediators are available state-wide.
