The purpose of the Homeownership Assistance Program is to make homeownership more affordable for low-to-moderate income households through down payment and/or closing cost assistance to qualified households purchasing a home within the City Limits of Columbia. Applications will only be considered when qualified buyers with properties are under contract. Ronald McDonald House

Caregivers of patients being seen at one of our local partnering medical facilities. Patients must be 21 years of age, or younger.

Each guestroom has two queen beds and a private bathroom. The House will provide you with a place to sleep comfortably, eat well, take a shower, do laundry, relax and play and spend time with other families in similar situations. The House welcomes families regardless of income, race, religion, nationality, gender, or abilities. There is no cost to stay at the Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Missouri.

To stay at the Ronald McDonald House, you must:
- Be a parent/legal guardian of a child 21 years of age or younger who is being treated at a Columbia medical facility.
- If you live inside Boone County, you may utilize our Day Pass Program. (The Day Pass Program is put on pause while we are in the hotel.)
- Guests MUST be referred by a clinical nurse, physician, or clinic social worker.
- If it’s a new patient or longer than three years they will need to go through their medical team to get a referral.
- Upon checking into the Ronald McDonald House, all adults must present a photo ID.
- All guests must pass a background check and agree to general House rules.
