Built in 2009 to be energy efficient and fully ADA accessible, the McBaine Avenue Townhomes combine affordability with convenience. Each two or three bedroom home is equipped with dishwasher, microwave, garbage disposal and ceiling fans. Electrical outlets are located high and low to accomodate the increased use of video games and wall-mounted televisions. Front porches are staggered for privacy and there is ample parking in the rear. Apartments are all smoke-free.

The Seniors Program connects eligible seniors 65 and older with local volunteer ophthalmologists who provide a medical eye exam often at no out-of-pocket cost, and up to one year of follow-up care for any condition diagnosed during the initial exam, for the physician services.
The Glaucoma Program provides a glaucoma eye exam at no cost to those who are eligible and uninsured.

The Bare Necessities Pantry (MACC)

Meals on Wheels of Columbia is a non-profit organization that aims to extend independence to seniors in our community. Through the help of our many friendly volunteer drivers, we provide a daily M-F hot, nutritious meal to individuals who meet the following criteria: 1. Any senior 65 or over; 2. Any adult who has a diagnosed disability or chronic illness (any age 18+); 3. Any adult needing short-term food support after a recent hospitalization.
