Birth Control - Free or Low-Cost through The Right Time initiative

The Right Time seeks to empower individuals to take control of their own health by improving information about, & removing barriers to, quality contraceptive services.  Across Missouri, partner health centers in The Right Time network offer a wide range of birth control methods, free or low-cost. The project aims to provide a year’s supply of the patient’s chosen method on the day of the appointment.

The Right Time aims to achieve contraceptive equity and reduce reproductive health disparities in MO. The Right Time is based on the simple belief that everyone should have the opportunity to pursue the future they want, including if, when, and under what circumstances to get pregnant.

The Right Time is led by Beacon Reproductive Health Network and is an initiative of Missouri Foundation for Health.

Who is covered:  All women of child bearing age, regardless of income, uninsured, interested in contraceptive methods, & any other related follow-up visits.  Anyone who can become pregnant, regardless of income, insurance status, or where you live. Contraceptive counseling, FDA-approved methods of birth control that require a prescription, and follow-up visits  are covered under The Right Time.

To establish eligibility, you need: Please bring a photo ID and, if not using insurance, a pay stub if you have it.
