The CoMo Bike Co-op is a facility and program housed at the Armory Sports Center. The Co-op offers free repair services for adult-sized traditional bicycles. The free repair program is the Co-op’s primary function. In addition to offering free repair services, the co-op also sells refurbished bike shop quality adult bicycles. Fully operating, refurbished bicycles are offered at significantly reduced rates to those found at local resale venues. Bicycles offered for sale are displayed on Mondays from 2 - 6 p.m. Proceeds support the free repair program.

Everyone is welcome. Our target demographic is underserved adults with transportation needs for work, school and the essential tasks of everyday living. Co-op services help community residents overcome economic barriers to owning a bicycle.

Pick up in Columbia is at the Wal-Mart on Conley, the Northeast parking lot.

The pick-up locations stay the same. If no rider is present, the bus trip is not made. If there is a rider, the trip gets made.

The shuttle does not run in inclement weather.

It also covers the three additional counties we provide Head Start for: Benton, Hickory, and Morgan. The resources and information listed in the guide have been compiled by other groups and agencies in our 8 county service area over the years, and most notably in Boone County by the Voluntary Action Center.
