This resource guide covers CMCA's 8 county service area: Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Cole, Cooper, Howard, Moniteau and Osage. It also covers the three additional counties we provide Head Start for: Benton, Hickory, and Morgan. It's a comprehensive guide that includes any and all resources available to help lower income individuals and families in need. The resources and information listed in the guide have been compiled by other groups and agencies in our 8 county service area over the years, and most notably in Boone County by the Voluntary Action Center.

MO Department of Mental Health Rental Assistance Program One-Time Assistance - RAP - one-time assistance is provided to (1) prevent eviction and re-establish housing stability; and/or (2) assist households to move into safe and affordable rental housing. This assistance is intended to help households who have adequate resources to rent on their own once they have been assisted. Therefore, assisted households must, in practice, have stable income where rent and utilities do not exceed 50% of their income, and/or a permanent housing voucher such as a Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher. The University of Missouri Care Team provides individualized support for students experiencing challenges that may impact their well-being or academic success. The team works collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, and families to connect students with appropriate campus and community resources while promoting self-advocacy and overall well-being.

Meet with the Care Team: Mizzou students seeking support with these or similar concerns can submit a referral or self-referral through our website. Faculty, staff, students, family members, and others may submit a referral when they are concerned about a student whose circumstances or behaviors are impacting their well-being but do not present an immediate safety risk.

The Crime Victims' Compensation Program provides financial assistance to people who sustained traumatic injuries resulting from certain violent crimes. We know that injuries can be more than just physical. The CVC Program can cover traumas to emotional and mental health well-being too.
