CMFCAA is a resource center for foster and adoptive families. There is no charge to use our services and if you have foster or adoptive or relative or guardianship care of children in your home then you qualify for our services. We also help license new foster and adoptive families through our Family Development team. We educate, support, and advocate for foster, kinship and adoptive children, youth and families in central Missouri by offering services and partnering with others to help them become healthy and self-sufficient.

Salvation Army-Baby Pantry

UPDATE 7/14/25: Columbia’s Salvation Army has expanded its baby pantry open hours from monthly to weekly – every Wednesday, 1:00-4:00 pm. We offer free clothing to people who have been referred to us from local agencies.  For families with children in Boone County Public Schools, we have a shoe coupon program.  They can purchase a coupon for $5.00 and then take that coupon to Shoe Carnival to get a pair of shoes for up to $50.00 value.  Clients can purchase a shoe coupon every 6 months per child.

On Public Shopping days, clothing is available at a very affordable cost for those that don't meet the low income requirements.

Open to the general public: Wednesday 11am-2pm, Friday 1am-4pm, and Saturday 9am-12 noon.

  • Referral Customers have exclusive access on Tuesdays, 11am - 2:30pm
