Midwest Special Needs Trust is a non-profit organization that administers Special Needs Trusts and a Charitable Trust.

Special Needs Trusts - a written legal document that allows for a person with a disability to have funds available to them for their supplemental needs without impacting eligibility for public benefits. An individual with a disability can set up a trust with their own money, called a first party trust. An family member can set up a trust with their money for the individual with a disability, called a third party trust.

Charitable Trust - Missourians with disabilities can apply for a grant up to $2,000 for items or services they wouldn't otherwise be able to afford. Applicants must meet both disability and income requirements. Applications can be submitted for a variety of items or services, such as dental work, hearing aids, assistive technology, and lift chairs. Submitting an application does not guarantee a grant will be awarded.
