Gun violence doesn’t end when the shooting stops — its impact lives on in the hearts, families, and neighborhoods of those left behind. Boone County Community Against Violence (BCCAV) stands beside survivors as they rebuild their lives and works to prevent future tragedies. As a gun violence survivor-led organization, we are committed to healing, justice, and prevention.
We fill a critical gap in services for survivors of gun violence by offering:
Trauma-informed programs that focus on healing and empowerment.
Advocacy and resource navigation to help survivors rebuild stability and seek justice.
Community engagement initiatives that promote understanding, prevention, and unity.
