BURST is a free mental health skills group offered by The Center Project for LGBTQIA+ youth ages 14-17 who live in Boone County. Please share this with families and youth who could benefit as well as anyone in your network who may also support families and youth. 

Applications are open for the second round of a new program for youth. Wednesdays, October 21 to December 16, 6-8pm, 805 Fairview Ave, Columbia, MO 65201. Parent/Guardian Consent and Screening are required before the first session, so sign up ASAP!

How BURST Works: 
· Serves LGBTQIA+ youth ages 14-17 who live in Boone County
· Is totally free (we don't even bill insurance!) and led by mental health professionals 
· Meets every Wednesday for 9 weeks from 6:00pm-8:00pm at The Center Project (805 Fairview Ave, Columbia MO 65201)
· Uses a combination of DBT & Radical Healing Framework
· This is a space where you'll connect with other teens, learn awesome life skills, and build your inner strength in a supportive, judgment-free zone. BURST helps students learn Mindfulness, Distress tolerance, Emotion regulation, Interpersonal effectiveness>
