The Columbia/Boone County Public Health & Human Services Medication and Medical Supplies Assistance program, provides limited assistance with prescription medications and medical supplies for eligible Boone County residents. The program allows $200 for prescription meds per person and $150 for medical supplies. The supplies budget is renewed monthly, and runs out quickly after the 1st of the month.

Missouri’s State Pharmacy Assistance Program is more commonly referred to as the Missouri Rx Plan or MORx. This program assists low income seniors who are Medicaid participants with the cost of their medications by paying up to 50% of their co-payment, deductible and coverage gap amounts.
Residents of Missouri can apply for MO HealthNet online, by calling 855-373-9994, or by downloading and printing out an application and mailing it to Family Support Division, 615 E. 13th St., Kansas City, MO 64106. To determine whether you qualify for MO HealthNet, call the Family Support Division at 855-373-4636.
