👵🏽 IRA Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD)

A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), also known as an IRA Charitable Rollover, allows donors age 70½ or older to make tax-free transfers directly from their IRA to Love Columbia, which can be used to satisfy all or part of a donor's Required Minimum Distribution (RMD).

Key Points for the Custodian:

  • QCDs must be transferred directly from the IRA custodian to Love Columbia.

  • The transfer must include the donor's name, address, and IRA account number for proper tax receipting.
