Como Mobile Aid has camping tents available for clients who are homeless and requesting one for shelter. Send an email to comomobileaid@gmail.com with the request and the client’s name. The parameters are they can receive one per season/quarter.

The center provides resources for mental health, including child and family therapists, as well as a podcast room to let kids’ voices be heard. Some of its programming topics include conflict resolution, building healthy relationships, the dangers of criminal thinking and a Big Brothers Big Sisters partnership. The center will also provide a workforce development program and recreational rooms.
The center provides an afterschool program from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. during the week. It will open at 8 a.m. for children facing expulsion or suspension from school. Parents commuting to work are also welcome to drop their kids off at the center.
The program requires applications to be filled out by children’s guardians. Applications can be found on the center’s website.

The Rental Assistance Program one-time assistance which provides assistance to (1) prevent eviction and re-establish housing stability; and/or (2) assist households to move into safe and affordable rental housing. This assistance is intended to help households who have adequate resources to rent on their own once they have been assisted.
With a coordianted speciality care team addressing behavioral health and substance use disorders, Burrell can help pregnant and new mothers receive the care they need to reduce or prevent Children’s Division involvement and their childrent’s stay in foster care. Show-Me Hope is Missouri’s crisis counseling program (CCP) in response to a disaster or critical event. Counselors are based in the local community to teach coping and stress management skills to anyone dealing with the anxiety and uncertainty caused by the event. The CCP helps individuals and communities recover from natural and human-caused disasters through community outreach and access to resources including mental health services.

FACE is a point of entry for families with youth ages 0-19 who are seeking services for social, emotional, or behavioral concerns. Each family will be assigned a clinical case manager who will partner with them from the beginning to make sure that appropriate services are received as well as to support the family.
We strive to improve access to high quality services that support the health and wellbeing of Boone County youth and families. We support families in connecting to resources ranging from counseling and parenting support to after school activities, and basic provisions such as food and clothing.
