HOW WE USE THE GENERAL DONATION FUND
Your donations are reserved into a general fund that can be used to provide for a variety of essential critical needs faced by neighbors in Columbia. All donations stay local.
Donations to Love Columbia’s general fund provide not only essentials and time sensitive supportive care, but resources necessary to accomplish our mission – including personnel, materials, building, and equipment needs. Your tax-deductible donation is stewarded by Love Columbia to provide immediate needs and keep our mission moving.
BASIC NEEDS
Housing families that come to us for help is an immediate priority. These funds are used for rent assistance, utility assistance, food and other essential items.
TRANSPORTATION NEEDS
These funds provide for essential car repairs that if not resolved, could quickly lead to job loss and homelessness.
EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT
Provides essential coaching support in 5 life transforming areas: budgeting, credit building, career and job search, housing coaching and life purpose coaching. Promotes long-term self-improvement and may then include strategic financial assistance to bridge a gap or accomplish goals.

Assisted 103 Households by Providing Housing Crisis Intervention to alleviate or prevent homelessness.

Our Volunteer coaches, even in the middle of a pandemic, provided 1,110 coaching sessions.
