M.A.R.C.H. Inc. (Mediation Achieving Results for Children)

M.A.R.C.H. Inc. (Mediation Achieving Results for Children) is a state-wide nonprofit (501c3) that provides free supervised visitation, mediation and legal services to eligible families in Missouri. Our goal is to help families resolve disputes surrounding the needs of their children. When parties aren't eligible for free mediation, M.A.R.C.H. can still provide in-person, phone, or virtual mediation at a cost of $200 an hour per parent (2 hour minimum).
Eligible families in Missouri can receive up to four hours of free mediation per year. Families that are eligible for free mediation are also eligible for free legal services to assist with court document filing, and supervised visitation services.

CMCA - Resource Guide

This resource guide covers CMCA's 8 county service area: Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Cole, Cooper, Howard, Moniteau and Osage. It also covers the three additional counties we provide Head Start for: Benton, Hickory, and Morgan. It's a comprehensive guide that includes any and all resources available to help lower income individuals and families in need. The resources and information listed in the guide have been compiled by other groups and agencies in our 8 county service area over the years, and most notably in Boone County by the Voluntary Action Center.
University of Missouri Pro Bono Program

A formal pro bono program was established in 2013 to encourage students to engage in pro bono and civic activity while also being able to gain practical lawyering skills and serve persons with limited means. Legal assistance may not be provided without direct attorney oversight.

Boone County Community Bail Fund
Boone residents in the Boone County Jail who cannot afford to pay the bail set by the court. Most have misdemeanor charges, about 20% are unsheltered, vast majority qualify for a public defender.

We answer calls from detainees at the Boone County Jail. If they qualify (Boone County resident, Boone County charges, $3000 or less total bail) we arrange to pay bail, transport home, and provide reminders about court dates. We monitor jail conditions. We provide public education on the processes of incarceration, bail, and court. As we identify problems, we post solutions. Answer phones M-F 9-5:00, if we have volunteer coverage.

Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA) - Disaster Legal Services
