This is the Jefferson City office which serves Central and Northern MO including Boone County. They provide services for refugees and immigrants, those with food insecurity, mental health needs, health and nutrition education, and disaster preparation and response.
They are part of the Catholic refugee resettlement network that helps with food, clothing, shelter, employment, English language training, and orientation to a new community and culture.
They also provide immigration legal services as a way to reunite families and promote self-sufficiency for immigrants through low-fee legal assistance to U.S. Citizens, Lawful Permanent Residents and immigrants with: adjustment of status, naturalization, citizenship, legal permanent residency, and deferred action for childhood arrivals.
Catholic Charites of Central and Northern Missouri offers a client choice Food Pantry at 1015 Edmonds St., Jefferson City, MO. The pantry hours are Mondays and Wednesdays 4pm - 7pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am - 1pm. Except for the 1st Saturday of each month, we are closed because the Mobile Pantry. VISIT THE PANTRY TO SET UP YOUR MEMBERSHIP
Setting up your membership is easy! Come with your I.D. and one piece of mail for proof of address. If you don't have these items, come anyway, and our staff can help navigate your membership. Once you're signed up, you can shop in person or use the SmartChoice platform online to order your grocery items and schedule a pick-up time.
We have a Financial Stability Specialist who helps neighbors reduce loan debt from high interest loans and predatory leaders.
We also have a HUD Certified House Counselor
They provide mental health services through “Hope”, a FREE chat service providing encouragement & strategies on how to manage everyday stress and anxiety using Chatbot technology.
