The center provides resources for mental health, including child and family therapists, as well as a podcast room to let kids’ voices be heard. Some of its programming topics include conflict resolution, building healthy relationships, the dangers of criminal thinking and a Big Brothers Big Sisters partnership. The center will also provide a workforce development program and recreational rooms.
The center provides an afterschool program from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. during the week. It will open at 8 a.m. for children facing expulsion or suspension from school. Parents commuting to work are also welcome to drop their kids off at the center.
The program requires applications to be filled out by children’s guardians. Applications can be found on the center’s website.

Show Me Hope Missouri

Show-Me Hope is Missouri’s crisis counseling program (CCP) in response to a disaster or critical event. Counselors are based in the local community to teach coping and stress management skills to anyone dealing with the anxiety and uncertainty caused by the event. Family Access Center for Excellence

FACE is a point of entry for families with youth ages 0-19 who are seeking services for social, emotional, or behavioral concerns. Each family will be assigned a clinical case manager who will partner with them from the beginning to make sure that appropriate services are received as well as to support the family.
We strive to improve access to high quality services that support the health and wellbeing of Boone County youth and families. We support families in connecting to resources ranging from counseling and parenting support to after school activities, and basic provisions such as food and clothing.
All residents of Boone County are eligible for FACE services free of charge. Request Services
