Tiger OT is a program that provides hands-on clinical opportunities for student practitioners in both traditional outpatient settings and the community. Tiger OT serves both children and adults who may be experiencing challenges associated with neurologic, musculoskeletal, mental health and developmentally based conditions. Specific conditions include stroke, head injury, amputation, chronic pain, autism, cerebral palsy, visual impairments and spinal cord injury.
Common services offered by Tiger OT
Evaluation and individualized treatment to address functional limitations in self-care, household chores, play and leisure participation and other daily living skills.
Adaptive equipment
Environmental modification
Fabrication of custom orthotics
Assistive technology
Hours and location: The Tiger OT Clinics are located in Clark Hall and Lewis Hall on the University of Missouri campus. Services are by appointment, call for more information.
