About Love Columbia
Founded in 2008, Love Columbia has been dedicated to serving neighbors in need by addressing a range of barriers through coaching, material items, and strategic financial assistance.
The Need
We have seen a significant increase of requests for rental assistance in the last year. Data from the 2-1-1 Counts Missouri shows an 83.3% increase in rent assistance requests from January through June 2023 in comparison to the same period in 2022.
In our Home for the Holidays campaign, we are teaming up with Veterans United Foundation, QuesTec Mechanical, and other local businesses with a heart for serving others. This is where you come in. The need is significant, and we still need your help. Will you help us keep local families from being evicted this holiday season?
What your donation can do:
A donation of $50 or $100 will go toward rent assistance to support area families on the verge of eviction or currently going through the eviction process, as well as those experiencing homelessness. On average, $1000 will cover one month of rent for a local family. With our collective efforts, we can provide warmth, security, and hope for these families.
