Many people come to us needing help right away. We also want to help you plan for what comes next.

About Financial Help Requests

We know financial pressure can feel overwhelming. Love Columbia receives many requests for financial help, and we are limited in how many we can handle at one time. Financial assistance requests are accepted only on the first Monday of each month.

When you ask for financial help, a team member will contact you to learn more about your situation. They may ask questions or request paperwork. We want to understand not just where you are now, but where you are headed so we can figure out the best way to help.

Sometimes we can help with a bill directly. Other times, we may offer coaching, classes, or other support to help you prepare for the next month. Our goal is always to help you get to a place where you won’t need to ask again.

What Happens Next

After submitting your request, our goal is to respond to new inquiries within 3 business days. Our team will review it and follow up as quickly as possible. We may not be able to meet every request, but we will respond with care and concern.
