Biblical Recovery is a discipleship program that has a specific focus on gaining and maintaining victory over addictions/strongholds. Based upon the categorization of addictions/strongholds laid out in Galatians 5. Through 13 lessons the subject of recovery is presented from a purely biblical perspective.

Recovery support programs offer services such as care coordination, recovery coaching, spiritual counseling, group support, recovery housing and transportation, before, during, after, and in coordination with other substance use disorder service providers. These services are offered in a multitude of settings including community, faith-based and peer recovery organizations. Recovery support programs are person-centered and self-directed allowing individual’s choice of provider.

We are a 12-month faith-based program for women — including women with young children (under school age) — who are struggling with drug addiction and other life-controlling challenges. Our heart is to provide a safe, loving environment where women can begin the journey toward healing, restoration, and lasting change.
Throughout every part of the program, the women are encouraged to honestly process the things that have made life feel unmanageable — past hurts, broken relationships, trauma, unhealthy patterns, and personal struggles. Through writing, discussion, mentorship, and community, they begin to discover healing and restoration in areas where they once felt hopeless.
And despite what some may think, you do not have to struggle with drug addiction to come into our program. We serve women from all walks of life who may be facing difficult seasons, emotional struggles, unhealthy environments, broken relationships, or simply needing a safe place to heal, grow, and start fresh.
Hours: Monday - Friday 7am to 5:30om -- office hour(s); Weekend(s) for urgent intakes only.

Shelter KC Men's Center offers 3 programs:
- A 60+ bed short-term emergency shelter.
- Shelter KC offers homeless men two weeks of emergency shelter. After that time, they are encouraged to join the Shelter Launch program. This program connects shelter guests with a life coach to create a launch plan with the resources they need to obtain independent housing including: physical, mental, and spiritual health; finances, legal issues, job search, and housing search.
- Shelter KC offers the Christian Community of Recovery (C-COR) to men in our emergency overnight homeless shelter who struggle with a life-controlling addiction. C-COR is a trust and responsibility-based recovery environment and is designed to disciple men toward a committed and sober life in Jesus Christ.

Genesis offers a residential 12-month program for men that provides a consistent schedule of Christian education, one-on-one counseling, group sessions, anger management, relapse prevention, prayer, work, and fellowship. As drug use of any kind and tobacco products are prohibited, students are subject to random drug, alcohol, and nicotine screens.

The Heartland Recovery Program has welcomed men and women ages 18 and older from all over the United States. Through the support of generous donors, the program is offered free of charge to individuals who commit to a 12-month program. The primary criteria for enrolling is a willingness and desire to change; to be admitted a candidate must first contact our admissions office and follow our admission guidelines to assure a successful entry. For those who stay and complete the program, it is a life changing experience.
