The Salvation Army's Linwood Center Permanent Supportive Housing Programs provides long-term apartment housing for families and single women with disabilities. Provides up to 24 months of shelter, comprehensive case management and follow-up services for homeless families and women. The program offers individualized action plans that promote goal attainment, leading to an increased self-sufficiency, improved independent living skills and an increased ability to secure and maintain permanent housing.
Requirements: homeless families or single women, must be willing to participate in case management
Usually don’t take families outside the K.C. area but will put on a waiting list. They prefer you go through the homeless hotline which is 816-474-4599.
