Open to all ages, abilities, and economic circumstance, Access Arts has always been committed to providing creative learning experiences for everyone. Keeping true to the organization’s initial vision, this student body still includes people of all ages from all walks of life and every ability level.

Six 6-week sessions of regular classes are offered each year in a variety of fine art and traditional crafts media. Studios are available for advanced students to work independently year-round, and workshops extend class instruction. Outreach programs include lessons and demonstrations at local festivals, schools, senior centers, and organizations. In 2013, the Summer Camp and School's Out Programs were added, providing creative learning for school-age children outside of normal school activities.

6 WEEK ADULT CLASSES: Our 6-week adult classes are a weekly class that explores a specific medium. Every session we offer clay classes (hand-building, wheel-throwing, and special topic classes), fibers classes (spinning and weaving), and occasionally we have 2D classes (painting and printmaking). All of these classes are inclusive, and we offer scholarship or work study spots frequently. We offer 6 class sessions per year, so be sure to catch the next one on our website!

DATE NIGHTS: Date Nights are a one-night, fun, creative experience for you and a partner! These experiences are usually in clay, specifically hand-building or wheel-throwing. Both you and your plus one will have one piece glazed and fired to pick up a few weeks later!

6 WEEK YOUTH CLASSES: Our 6-week youth classes are a weekly class that explores a specific medium (clay, fibers, mixed-media). In addition to classes exclusively for kids, we also offer Parent+Child classes, for families who want to take a class together! We offer 5-6 class sessions per year, so be sure to catch the next one on our website!

SUMMER CAMP: Summer Camp is a week-long camp offered between the dates CPS Summer School ends and the Fall Session begins. We have full-day camps for students going into 1st-5th grade in the fall and separate half-day camps for both middle schoolers and high school students. Home-schooled children are always welcome too! This program is inclusive, but we also offer a few weeks that are half days for adaptive students who would benefit from such. Pricing is available on our website, but we also offer a limited number of scholarships, so be sure to apply if you need any financial assistance! During the day, participating students complete different art projects in various media (Ceramics, Fibers, and Mixed Media). Between the media blocks, they have time to play both indoor and outdoor games and enjoy snacks.
