The mission of Our House: Caring for Callaway’s Homeless is to positively promote understanding, respect and housing solutions for the homeless in Callaway County through committed volunteers and staff providing education, advocacy and shelter.

Wiley House

Overnight Shelter for Adults
Nov-Mar: Check-in 6-8 pm, check-out 8 am
Apr-Oct: Check-in 8-9 pm, check-out 8 am
Overnight shelter for single men and women. Guests may stay overnight for ninety days. They are provided with linens and toiletries. While no meals are served ready to eat food and snacks are available.
A photo ID is required to enter. Guests cannot stay if there is a warrant for their arrest; if they are a sex offender; if they have a violent criminal record; or if they are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. All guests must abide by the Wiley House rules.

Transitional Shelter for Families w/Children
Admittance by application with Executive Director
A Transitional shelter for families. After making application, undergoing a background check, and agreeing to the rules and policies of Haven House, families may stay up to 12 weeks. During their stay families are required to remain employed and/or gain employment, identify and apply for applicable government assistance and work to accomplish their self-generated goals. Families receive close supervision by the Executive Director while participating in the program.
The Haven House includes four private bedrooms for various family sizes and communal kitchen, bathrooms, living/dining space and laundry. Families must complete house chores during their stay.
