Boone Electric will allow for extensions on your utility bill. They also offer Auto Pay and Prepaid Billing.

Extensions are granted for one week beyond the scheduled cutoff date. The full extension amount must be paid on or before the extension due date. Members must request an extension and sign the agreement before the day they are scheduled to be cut off for non-payment. The member must come into the office to sign the agreement. No extensions are granted on existing extensions or on accounts that already have been disconnected for non-payment. Members are limited to four (4) extension agreements per account each calendar year (Jan.-Dec.). If the member defaults on any extension agreement, no further extensions will be granted for a 12-month period from the date of default.

Autopay: Auto Pay allows you to pay your bill through an automatic electronic transfer from
your checking/savings account or charge it to a credit card. You will receive a monthly
statement showing the amount paid.

Prepaid Billing: There is no monthly bill and you pay as you go. Boone Electric will send
notifications when your credit balance is getting low. You can set up notifications by text or
email through Smart Hub. Payments can be made directly on the SmartHub app, at the office,
by phone or at their kiosk. If you have an overdue amount, a payment arrangement can be set
up for the debt and you can begin the prepaid billing going forward.
