The Seniors Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) is designed to:

  • Provide low-income seniors with access to locally grown fruits, vegetables, honey and herbs.

  • Increase the domestic consumption of agricultural commodities through farmers' markets, roadside stands, and community supported agricultural programs.

  • Aid in the development of new and additional farmers' markets, roadside stands, and community support agricultural programs.

The Missouri Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (MoSFMNP) provides benefit vouchers to low-income seniors (60 years of age or older) residing in one of 46 Missouri counties. Eligible seniors receive 10 vouchers ($5 each), totaling $50 annually. Vouchers can be exchanged for eligible foods at a farmer’s market or roadside stand with an authorized farmer.

Benefit vouchers issued to eligible participants: June 1 - September 30 Participants can redeem vouchers: June 1 - October 31
