Manicure Course:

The Manicuring course is designed to train all students in the principles and practices of the profession of manicuring. Upon successful completion of the course each student will be properly prepared and trained to complete the State Board of Cosmetology examination.

Course Length: 400 hours

Manicuring Course Objectives:

  • To educate and train students in the principles and practices of the profession of Manicuring in order that they can successfully complete the examination by the State Board and obtain their Manicuring license.

  • To develop habits of good workmanship and orderly performance of various tasks of the Manicuring profession.

  • To develop habits or correct performance of Cosmetology in the interest of safety and hygiene for oneself and for others.

  • To learn to properly select, care for and use the commercial products that are related to the application of beauty treatment.

  • To impart ideals and attitudes of willingness to cooperate between employers and employees and the practice of the highest standards of professional and personal ethics.

  • To educate students in the fundamentals of business operations as they relate to the successful operations of general business practices in the field of Manicuring.

Cosmetology/Manicuring Course:

The Cosmetology/Manicuring course is designed to train all students in the principles and practices of the profession of cosmetology. Upon successful completion of the course each student will be properly prepared and trained to complete the State Board of Cosmetology examination.

Course Length: 1500 hours

Cosmetology Course Objectives:

  • To educate and train students in the principles and practices of the profession of Cosmetology in order that they can successfully complete the examination by the State Board of Cosmetology and obtain their Cosmetology license.

Barber Course:

The Barber course is designed to train all students in the principles and practices of the profession of barbering. Upon successful completion of the course each student will be properly prepared and trained to complete the State Board of Barber examination. Missouri barber schools provide a minimum of one thousand (1,000) hours of training over a period of not less than seven (7) months.

  • To impart ideals and attitudes of willingness to cooperate between employers and employees and the practice of the highest standards of professional and personal ethics.

  • To educate students in the fundamentals of business operations as they relate to the successful operations of general business practices in the field of Barbering.

  • To assess the effectiveness of education course completion, licensure and employment rates.
