What is MCAC? MCAC is a postsecondary (college) access program that recruits upcoming and recent college graduates from any institution to serve as full-time, near-peer college advisers in partner high schools in Kansas City, St. Louis, and across Southern Missouri. MCAC college advisers work collaboratively with school counselors to provide one-on-one advisement to seniors and their families, helping them identify their “best fit” postsecondary option and navigate complex college admissions, financial aid, and planning processes.
