The goal of Central Missouri Therapy SPOT is to create a natural environment through which children and young adults can improve communication abilities, as well as gross/fine motor skills, cognition, social emotional, independence in self help skills with same age peers and caregivers through structured play and or therapeutic activities in order to prepare themselves to be successful in mainstream classrooms, with peers and in life.

The SPOT exists to meet the needs of the following disorders:

  • communication​

  • physical

  • fine motor and/or gross motor

  • social emotional

  • feeding/eating disorders

  • cognitive deficits

  • reading disorders

  • behavioral needs

  • sensory processing disorder

  • English as second language

  • augmentative alternative communication

Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Music Therapy, Reading Intervention, Social Skills Groups, Feeding Therapy, Behavioral Support
