How to Get Affordable Internet with Mediacom Connect2Compete
Do you have a child who is enrolled in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP)? Do you live in an area where Mediacom offers internet service? If you answered yes to both questions, you may be eligible for Mediacom Connect2Compete, a low-cost internet option for families with K-12 students.
What is Mediacom Connect2Compete? Mediacom Connect2Compete is a program that provides home internet service with download speeds up to 25 Mbps and a Wi-Fi modem for only $9.95 per month (plus tax). There are no installation fees, no equipment rental fees, and no data limits. You can enjoy fast and reliable internet access for online learning, homework, entertainment, and more.
How to Apply for Mediacom Connect2Compete?
To apply for Mediacom Connect2Compete, you need to meet the following criteria:
Live in a community (or area) where Mediacom offers internet service.
Have at least one child who qualifies for free or reduced-price school lunch through the NSLP.
Have not subscribed to Mediacom internet service in the past 90 days.
Do not have an outstanding Mediacom bill or unreturned equipment.
If you meet these requirements, you can apply online by visiting Mediacom’s website and filling out a simple form. You will need to provide some information, such as your name, address, phone number, email, and proof of NSLP eligibility. How Long Can I Stay in the Program? After the two-year period, you will need to re-qualify for the program under the same guidelines.
