A World of Discoveries in Columbia, Missouri, believes that every day brings a chance for the children in our daycare to learn and discover more about themselves and about the world around them, be it through sharing a toy with a friend or solving a multiplication problem. Daily activities include fine motor skills and gross motor skills development, as well as dramatic play, where kids can use their imagination in creative and fun ways. A World of Discoveries accepts private payments and FSD Child Care Assistance, please feel free to ask if you need any help or information regarding state aid. AWOD, doesn’t believe in overcharging families. Parents never pay more than the state regulated sliding fee! AWOD provides safe, nurturing, and educational experiences at an affordable rate. It is recommend staying two weeks ahead on your child’s account, and they are happy to help parents with payment plans and schedules.
